Created in collaboration with Jillian Paige, Making Space to Make is a limited-edition collection inspired by the beautifully messy reality of being a maker.
The “Getting My Stitch Together” specialty-brim hat and “One Stitch at a Time” project TIMI tote debut two new cross-stitch-inspired fonts, bringing a stitched-by-hand feel to two very maker-coded designs.
And the new fonts aren’t just for the collab — both are now available across Make(r) Your Own, so you can use them to create something completely your own.
Meet Jillian Paige
Jillian is a lover of all crafts, from knitting and crocheting, to sewing and cross stitching. She has worked at yarn stores, made store samples, tested patterns, and taught lessons to people of all ages. Essentially, any free time she has, she’s working on a project. Jillian is a teacher full time and knows how rewarding it can be to come home and work on your current project. She also knows how challenging it can be when you don’t have your “stitch” together, making it that much harder to enjoy what you’re working on.
This collection is both a way to acknowledge that things aren’t always going to be organized EXACTLY how you want, but with the right tools and some patience, you can get your “stitch” together too by taking it “one stitch at a time”
